Service Fee for Improper Returns

• A service fee of €20 is applied for returning the bike not to an official nextbike station outside of the yellow zone.

• This fee is applied automatically upon an improper return.

• The system will inform you for the upcoming service fee. 

​How to Avoid the Service Fee
If you accidentally return the bike improperly, you can avoid the €20 fee by:

• Go back to the bike.

• Renting it again.

• Return the bike to an official nextbike station.

Physical Verification:
No fee will be charged unless our operations team physically confirms that a bike was left outside an official nextbike station.
 
If you returned your bike to a proper nextbike station, you can safely ignore the automated email. The recorded €0.00 fee is simply a system-generated notification caused by the temporary GPS interference and will not result in any actual charge.

• All bikes must always be returned to official nextbike Stations. These stations can be found on the app.
