Our company, nextbike Cyprus Ltd, has been successfully operating the bike sharing system, an ideal climate-friendly solution as a means of transportation in Cyprus. It started operating in Limassol in 2012 with 67 bikes and now the company is operating in all Cyprus’ cities and its fleet consisted of 2000 bikes.

SEAMLESS SHARED URBAN MOBILITY (SUM) Project
The objective of SUM is to transform current mobility networks towards innovative and novel shared mobility systems (NSM) integrated with public transport (PT) in more than 15 European Cities by 2026, reaching 30 by 2030. This can change the behavior of 34% of travelers using cars and 17% of travelers skeptical about using NSM. The partners in this diverse consortium have access to innovative tools and expertise, making them uniquely positioned to tackle the barriers in 9 living labs and 30 organizations across Europe.

metaCCAZE Project
metaCCAZE accelerates the user-centred deployment of smart systems and services that combine electric automated and connected mobility and related infrastructure across European cities. metaCCAZE organizes a series of MetaDesign activities with multisector stakeholders and different population groups to develop metadesigned shared zero-emission mobility use cases, collaborative business and governance models.
4 trailblazer cities: Amsterdam, Munich, Limassol and Tampere.
6 follower cities: Athens, Krakow, Gonzo, Milan, Miskolc and Paris region.
metaCCAZE is a project and an initiative to transition cities to the green metamobility era that the Green Deal, 2ZERO, CCAM, Mission and other EU partnerships envisage by 2030 and beyond.
