You can rent up to four bikes at a time with a nextbike account. Booked rates and special conditions usually only apply to the first bike.

With a nextbike account you can use almost all nextbike connected bike sharing systems worldwide. However, some systems require a separate registration in the respective system. In some systems, bikes can be rented without a new registration, but only via the local app.

A service fee of at least €20 will be charged only if a bike is returned outside a flexzone or outside of an official nextbike station. It does not matter if the bike was already rented outside the flexzone or outside a station. The service fee of the previous user does not cover the misconduct of the next user.

Bicycles can be returned throughout the nextbike stations all over in Cyprus cities as, Limassol, Nicosia, Larnaca, Ayia Napa.

Yes, that is possible. If the bike has a combination lock, you can simply close the lock and open it again with the lock code. If the bike has a BikeComputer and a fork lock, activate parking mode. To do this, briefly touch the BikeComputer to wake it up, then press the 'P' button, close the fork lock and confirm parking mode again with 'P'. To continue cycling, enter the lock code again in the BikeComputer and press 'OK'. If the bike has a frame lock, activate parking mode in the app and then close the lock (note: If you close the lock before parking mode is activated, the bike will be put back immediately). To continue cycling, end parking mode in the app and the lock will open automatically. Never end parking mode from a distance. The rental remains active during parking mode and is charged as usual.

All of our bikes must be returned only to official nextbike stations. These stations can be found on the app and on our website. If you return the bike to a place that is not nextbike station, you will be charged with a service fee. In order to avoid that fee, you must rent the bike again and return it to an official nextbike station.

You have to lock the bikes to end your rental and NOT ending your rental via app. The bikes do not lock automatically, but manually. In case you leave a bike unlock next time, you will be charged with a service fee of €35.

It may take a few seconds for the bike and the app to synchronize. Do not worry about extra charges. As soon as you return the bike, following the designated procedure, then the timer stops. Please report failed returns to our customer support immediately via the app or at info@nextbike.com.cy. (info@nextbike.com.cy.) Have the bike number, location and the current usage time at hand.

The process depends on your bike type: For Framelock bikes: 1. Open the nextbike app and press "Pause" 2. Lock the bike by pressing down the framelock lever at the rear 3. A beep confirms the bike is locked 4. To resume: Press "Resume rental" in the app, then unlock the bike For Forklock bikes: 1. Lock the bike by pressing the forklock into the hole on the left side of the front wheel 2. Press the "P" button on the bike's keypad 3. "Parking" will appear on the screen and app 4. To resume: Enter your original rental code on the keypad, then unlock the forklock Important: Time continues running during temporary stop. You can leave the bike anywhere, but must return it to an official station when finished to avoid service fees.

Fork lock (Front wheel) 1. Enter the code on the bike’s keypad (you received it on your app at the beginning of your rental). 2. Remove the fork lock (front wheel) and place it on the basket’s right side. Frame lock (Rear wheel) 1. Press the Resume rental button on the app. 2. The bike unlocks automatically. In case the lock is not open, press the unlock button on the app. Note: On temporary stop mode, the rental time is still running and the charging continues.

To return your rental bike, the process depends on your bike type: Framelock Bikes: • Return the bike to an official station • Lock the bike by pressing down the lever of the framelock at the rear part of the bike • A beep will confirm successful return and end your rental Forklock Bikes: • Return the bike to an official station • Lock the bike by pressing the Forklock inside the hole on the left side of the front wheel • Press the OK button on the bike's keypad twice • The message "Bike returned" will appear on the bike's computer screen and in the app Important: If a station is full, place the bike directly next to the station and follow the return process . Always return to official stations to avoid service fees. Note: Sometimes it takes a few seconds for the bike and app to get synchronized.
